Our Name  |  Rooted in Trust

The name Coin and Seed comes from two parables in the Bible that highlight faith and stewardship. The Coin, or talents in Matthew, shows the importance of wise financial decisions, two servants act with courage, while a third, paralyzed by fear, buries his coin and misses the opportunity entrusted to him.

The Seed, from the Parable of the Sower, reminds us that life’s worries and false priorities can hold back the seed, while fertile soil yields a harvest when it is cultivated with care.

Together, these stories reveal how fear and worry can keep us from engaging wisely with what we’ve been given. At Coin & Seed Wealth Management, we believe wealth is more than money. Our purpose is to provide clarity and confidence, helping clients overcome fear and to make intentional and confident financial decisions that benefit their families, their future, and the values they hold most dear.

Harris is driven by a vision to help families grow, preserve, and pass down wealth with purpose.

With family roots in Alabama, Harris grew up in North Atlanta before moving to Bowling Green, Kentucky for his senior year of high school. He went on to attend the University of Kentucky, where he earned a degree in economics and began his career in financial services. After several roles, including time as a banker, he discovered his true calling in financial planning, where he could make a deeper, lasting impact on people’s lives.

As his career developed, Harris earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation and advanced to managing a practice of high-net-worth clients in Lexington. There, he built meaningful relationships and delivered holistic wealth strategies that aligned investments with clients’ long-term goals.

In November of 2023, his son Campbell was born. Fatherhood gave Harris a new perspective on the importance of family and legacy. Inspired by this shift, he founded Coin & Seed Wealth Management to serve families across generations, helping them align their wealth with their values, regardless of their current asset level. His mission is to guide clients into financial clarity, confidence, and direction, empowering them to invest in what matters most.

Today, Harris lives in Lexington with his wife, Breah; their son, Campbell; and their dog, Margo. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar, cheering on the Braves and his Crimson Tide, cooking, and leading a Bible study for college students. Whether guiding clients or mentoring young leaders, Harris is passionate about serving others and seeing them grow.
